Dr. Pepper Clock Dial Centennial Issue (1985)

Clock Dial, the magazine of Dr. Pepper. The name comes from the old bottles with a clock and the slogan “Drink a bite to eat at 10, 2 and 4.” This centennial issue has two front covers, and you flip it over to read the other half of the magazine. Why this was cataloged into a library’s book collection, I have no idea. I got it when they were getting rid of it.

I’ve been to the Dr. Pepper museum in Waco, Texas. I’m not really a Dr. Pepper drinker, but I used to collect soda pop bottles, I had over 1000.

And best of all, the “Pepper Mates.” According to Google, this is the only picture of any of them on the entire internet! So enjoy!
