As interesting as “How to Change Your Boyfriend” was, let’s focus on the fashions from this April 1962 issue of Teenagers Ingenue.

Fashion at the World’s Fair in Seattle.

If the hemline was higher, this could pass for the groovy styles that would dominate the latter half of the decade.

I love that the girl is carrying a Dave Brubeck Quartet LP.  The record is “Time Out”, the first jazz album to sell a million copies.
