Some interesting advertisements from the March 12, 1963 issue of LOOK magazine.

What was it with kids in mid-century advertisements? They were often not particularly cute – quite the contrary, they had a tendency to look a tad creepy.

“Feel its comforting coolness slide down your throat”

“So downright smokeable!” Note that the ad says “You can light either end!”… what the – ?

You can pull out more than one snot rag at a time… Methinks they’re hyping up this feature a bit too much.

All abooooard!! Hey, kids – it’s the cigarette train!
I sure do miss colored kleenex and toilet paper.
